Celebrating Drexel's NSF GRFP Applicants
November 11, 2020
We are happy to announce that over thirty Drexel seniors, graduate students, and alumni have applied to the 2021 National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP)!
Applicants represented all Drexel schools and colleges that hold eligible degree programs: School of Biomedical Engineering, College of Computing and Informatics, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Education, College of Engineering, LeBow College of Business, and the Drexel University College of Medicine. Many of these students worked with our office through our NSF GRFP Application Workshops and/or the optional campus review process. We congratulate them on their applications so far and wish them the best of luck in the review process!
The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports promising graduate students in NSF-supported STEM and social science disciplines who are pursuing research-based graduate degrees at accredited US institutions. Eligible students include undergraduate seniors and 1st or 2nd year graduate students with significant research experience and the potential, skill and drive to significantly advance knowledge and benefit society through teaching, research and innovations in STEM. Recipients are typically announced in the spring following the application deadline.
We thank the more than sixty Drexel faculty who provided feedback for these students during the campus review process. For more information about this fellowship, visit our NSF GRFP page or contact Leah Gates, at lhg33@drexel.edu.
